Trentham Gardens

The band have been booked to play a summer festival at Trentham Gardens, Stoke-on-Trent on Friday 22nd August. The event will feature top Queen tribute QEII. More details and timings as we get them.

Rowdy!

Sometime last year the band played a couple of gigs in Holland including the Cafe Wilhelmena in Eindhoven. Here we met a young bassist and Rhino fan who goes by the name of Rowdy. We met Rowdy's dad the night before in Heemskirk, proudly sporting a selection of Quo tattoos on his back (see crap phone pic). Actually, he probably had other tattoos secreted about his body but didn't want to offend us.

Rowdy's main ambition at the time was to own a Status Rhino Charger bass , so it was Jon's opportunity to get a free drink and let Rowdy model said instrument. Pleading poverty, Rowdy then asked if there was any chance of a set of Status strings for his current bass. A brand new set of Status 'Hot Wires' were subsequently posted.

Recently got a post from Rowdy saying that he'd bought himself a Status bass (but still not the Rhino Charger) and that Rhino had given him four sets of strings!

Jon says he has to pay for his and he'll be emailing Rhino sharpish!!
